Joy Wolfenden Brown Wins Judges Choice Award at the Chaiya Art Awards

Joy Wolfenden Brown’s 'Ochre Light’ has won the Judges Choice Award at The Chaiya Art Award exhibition ‘Awe and Wonder’ currently on show at Gallery@OXO, South Bank, London, SE1 9PH. The exhibition is held over 14 themed rooms, from 7-16 April 2023, from 11-6pm.

The biennial Chaiya Art Awards is the UK’s biggest art awards illuminating spirituality. It has its roots in Christianity but this competition is open to people of all faiths, to those who have no belief in God, and to everyone in between. It’s about continuing an age old conversation in a modern setting with contemporary eyes. It’s about asking big questions and looking for inspiration from the wealth of the UK’s creatives. We encourage you to mine the depths of your imagination and creatively fly as you respond to each new theme.
