Henry Hussey 'Prodigious' Acquired by the Groucho Club Permanent Collection

Henry Hussey’s intricate textile panel ‘Prodigious’ has been acquired by the Groucho Club, London for its permanent art collection. Hussey joins a collection which includes works by Banksy, Fiona Banner, Sir Peter Blake, Christo, Mat Collishaw, Michael Craig-Martin, Martin Creed, Dexter Dalwood, Ian Davenport, Tracey Emin, Angus Fairhurst, Damien Hirst, Gary Hume, Rachel Kneebone, Joseph Kosuth, Michael Landy, Chris Levine, Jason Martin, Bruce McLean, Antony Micallef, Harland Miller, Robert Montgomery, Tim Noble, Marc Quinn, George Shaw, Conrad Shawcross, Yinka Shonibare (MBE) RA, David Shrigley, Gavin Turk, Keith Tyson, Stella Vine, Mark Wallinger, Sue Webster, Rachel Whiteread and Jonathan Yeo.

The Groucho Club is a private members club formed in 1985 located on Dean Street in London's Soho. Its members are mostly drawn from the publishing, media, entertainment and arts industries.

‘Prodigious’, utilises embroidery, digital printing, dyed fabrics and measures 135 x 135 cm and will be on permanent display at the London club.
